Jack Wilshere showed glimpses of just why he is still so highly rated at Arsenal, producing an excellent display in an advanced midfield position, especially in the second half as the Gunners worked hard to pick up a 2-2 draw against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
The England international came on midway through the first half to replace an injured Danny Welbeck, and though he struggled to come to terms with the pace of the game initially, he produced a much better display as the game wore on and created some excellent chances for his teammates with a powerful display.
