Club make important revelation regarding key Arsenal target

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger’s hopes of signing AC Milan winger M’Baye Niang have been dashed, with reports in Gazzetta dello Sport revealing that the Italian giants are not ready to let go of the player anytime soon.

The 22 year old has been in fine form for Milan, with him making 16 appearances for them so far this season, scoring thrice and providing an equal number of assists. Additionally, despite being of Senegalese descent, he has represented his adopted country, France, at the Under 16, Under 17 and Under 21 levels till now.

Wenger makes final decision on key summer target

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has decided to loosen the strings of his purse a little in order to land Olympique Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette this summer. According to reports in Squawka, the boss has decided to table an improved bid of £33.7m for the player, and it is understood that he may not spend any further on him.

The Ligue 1 giants are believed to have already rejected the north Londoners’ opening offer of £29.5m for the highly rated striker. And while Wenger’s new offer is a significant improvement on his earlier one, it still falls considerably short of Lyon’s demands of £40m, plus bonuses, for their player.

Club ready to sell sensational forward to Arsenal, only if…

 Arsenal have been boosted in their pursuit of Olympique Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, with the Ligue 1 side known to have finally become ready to sell him. However, as per reports in The Daily Mirror, the north London giants will have to splash out at least £40m, plus bonuses, in order to bring the player to the Emirates Stadium and succeed in their endeavours.

It is believed that the Gunners have already failed with a £29.3m offer for the player, with West Ham United having also had a bid of around £32m rejected for him. Additionally, Lyon themselves would prefer to hold on to Lacazette this summer, with the side known to be considering him ‘irreplaceable’.
