Arsenal great Thierry Henry has doubts about the long term future of club star Alexis Sanchez at the Emirates Stadium.
The Frenchman was quoted telling Sky Sports: “I want him [Sanchez] to sign, everybody wants him to sign. That’s a tricky one for the club. That’s why you have guys there to be able to deal with that… If he ever leaves then you would think the likes of Bayern are going to come, Paris Saint-Germain. Maybe joining his friend [Arturo] Vidal at Bayern Munich so we’ll see. But stay… don’t listen to anyone, find a way, stay!”
Arsenal have been shocked in their pursuit of Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak, with reports in the press revealing that he suffered a broken rib during his side’s Super Cup match against Barcelona on Tuesday, which in turn has raised questions on his potential move to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is believed to have become seriously interested in signing Napoli attacker Jose Callejon. And reports in Gazzetta dello Sport have revealed that the Frenchman is now on the verge of signing the player in the coming days, thus trumping his other suitors Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur to his signature.

Meanwhile, Napoli attacker Manolo Gabbiadini has said that his teammate Gonzalo Higuain, who is believed to be a target for the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea this summer, will not be sold by his club at any cost. Gabbiadini was quoted telling Italian radio station Radio Kiss Kiss: “We shouldn’t forget the number of decisive goals he scored. Pipita is untouchable.”
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is understood to be keeping tabs on Barcelona’s star defensive midfielder Sergio Busquets, according to reports in Spanish publication Sport.
The Gunners have already missed on their targets Geoffrey Kondogbia, Morgan Schneiderlin and Arturo Vidal this summer; however, the boss is now understood to have become desperate to lure Busquets to the Emirates Stadium in the coming weeks.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, it seems, has finally miss out on the chance to sign Arturo Vidal from Juventus. According to reports in the press, Bayern Munich Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has revealed that the Chilean is set to return to Germany in the coming days, with him set to link up with the Bavarians soon.
Rummenigge was quoted telling Sky Sports News: “I can confirm that we have reached an agreement with both parties, Juventus and the player. What is missing is the medical and the signature of the contract.”
The agent of Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema has revealed that his client is not wishful of parting ways with the La Liga giants anytime soon, despite reports in the press linking him with a potential move to Arsenal this summer. Turkish giants Besiktas are understood to have shortlisted Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck as their next summer target, according to reports in the Turkish media. It is understood that the club are hoping to sign the former Manchester United forward for £7-10.6m this summer, with the Gunners looking to land another striker this summer.
