Wenger set to make a move for the ‘New Van Persie’

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger seems to have located the perfect successor to former club star Robin van Persie’s throne. According to reports in The Daily Mail, the Frenchman is looking to table a bid to sign AZ Alkmaar youngster Vincent Janssen in the coming weeks.

A product of the Feyenoord youth academy, the 21 year old has been a revelation for his club this season following his low profile move from Almere City last summer. In just 48 appearances for the side so far, the youngster has netted 31 goals and provided 7 assists, with 26 goals and 5 assists coming in 33 Eredivisie games.
