33 year old Bayern Munich French winger Franck Ribery looks set to miss the Champions League Round of 16 first leg clash with Arsenal in a couple of weeks’ time after suffering an injury in training this week.
Ribery, who has been in pretty good form so far this season, pulled his hamstring while chasing a ball down in training at Bayern’s training center at Sabener Strasse on Tuesday. Continue reading
Bayern Munich have confirmed that star winger Franck Ribery has been ruled out of their UEFA Champions League clash against Arsenal on Wednesday because of an ankle injury.

Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery has slammed Arsenal for their poor showing on Tuesday when Bayern virtually sealed their place in the last 8 of the Champions League with a dominating 3-1 win at the Emirates.
Arsenal came to the Round of 16 draw against Bayern following a shock home defeat to Championship club Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup. The Germans stamped their dominance right from the start as Toni Kroos found the net on just 7 minutes before Thomas Muller doubled their advantage in the first half. Lukas Podolski did pull one back for the Gunners but Mario Mandzukic completed the rout with a third goal for Bayern in the second half. Continue reading
