Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, it seems, has still not given up on his wish to sign Alvaro Morata. According to reports in Spanish paper OK Diario, the Frenchman has once again become interested in signing the young striker this winter after failing to bring him to the Emirates Stadium last summer.
The 24 year old, who is widely considered to be one of the most highly rated forwards of his generation, moved back to Real Madrid from Juventus over the summer when Los Blancos activated a buy-back option in his deal. And since then, the player has made 23 appearances for his club this season, with a number of them being from the bench, scoring 9 goals and providing 4 assists in the process.

Real Madrid on Wednesday officially paid 30 million euros ($33 million) for a buyback option to re-sign striker Alvaro Morata from Italian Champions Juventus. According to reports in The Sun, the Frenchman is ready to make the Spaniard his top-earning player by offering him wages of £155,000-a-week, as part of a five year deal, so as to lure him to the Emirates Stadium.
