Arsenal re-enter race for sensational La Liga attacker

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, it seems, has still not given up on his wish to sign Alvaro Morata. According to reports in Spanish paper OK Diario, the Frenchman has once again become interested in signing the young striker this winter after failing to bring him to the Emirates Stadium last summer.

The 24 year old, who is widely considered to be one of the most highly rated forwards of his generation, moved back to Real Madrid from Juventus over the summer when Los Blancos activated a buy-back option in his deal. And since then, the player has made 23 appearances for his club this season, with a number of them being from the bench, scoring 9 goals and providing 4 assists in the process.

Wenger plotting surprise swap deal to strengthen Arsenal’s attack force

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is understood to be contemplating selling off star Alexis Sanchez to Real Madrid this summer. Expectedly however, the Frenchman is unwilling to be at the losing end of the deal, with reports in the press revealing that the boss will be asking the Spanish giants for their duo of Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez in return for the Chilean ace.
