Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger’s hopes of signing AC Milan winger M’Baye Niang have been dashed, with reports in Gazzetta dello Sport revealing that the Italian giants are not ready to let go of the player anytime soon.

The 22 year old has been in fine form for Milan, with him making 16 appearances for them so far this season, scoring thrice and providing an equal number of assists. Additionally, despite being of Senegalese descent, he has represented his adopted country, France, at the Under 16, Under 17 and Under 21 levels till now.

A.C. Milan coach Vincenzo Montella on Friday decided that Arsenal transfer target, Colombian striker Carlos Bacca will not participate in the team’s US tour.

The agent and brother of AC Milan youngster Stephan El Shaarawy has confirmed that the club have received bids for the player. He also said that while the player is not feeling the need to leave the San Siro right now, the whole situation may change depending on the changes in the club hierarchy.
