AC Milan manager Vincenzo Montella has admitted that M’Baye Niang, who is understood to be a top target for Arsenal this winter, may leave his current side in the days to come.
The boss was quoted telling Milan TV: “Niang might leave the club. He’s discussing it with the management. He won’t be called up for the game against Juve as I thought he would definitely have been distracted.”
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger’s hopes of signing AC Milan winger M’Baye Niang have been dashed, with reports in Gazzetta dello Sport revealing that the Italian giants are not ready to let go of the player anytime soon.
The 22 year old has been in fine form for Milan, with him making 16 appearances for them so far this season, scoring thrice and providing an equal number of assists. Additionally, despite being of Senegalese descent, he has represented his adopted country, France, at the Under 16, Under 17 and Under 21 levels till now.
Arsenal target and Real Madrid ace Sergio Ramos has said that he is wishful of playing in the English Premier League. The Spaniard was quoted telling AS: â€œThe only thing I will say is that with every passing day I prefer the English Premier League.â€
