Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is certainly in the mood to continue with his mass summer clearout, with reports in Eurosport revealing that the boss is contemplating releasing midfielder Mathieu Flamini from his contract, which runs until 2016, in order to facilitate his move away from the Emirates Stadium.
It is believed that French side Bastia are interested in signing the player this summer. However, due to financial constraints, it is believed that the side can only afford to land the Frenchman for free, with him also required to take a significant wage cut to move to the club.
Arsenal star David Ospina has another club joining the race for him, with reports in The Metro revealing that Ligue 1 side Marseille are now plotting a move to sign the player this summer.
The 26 year old is believed to have become unsure of his chance to land regular game time at the club next season, now that the side are on the verge of signing Petr Cech from Chelsea in the coming days. And that, in turn, is understood to have made him keen on a switch to greener pastures in the weeks to come.

Mathieu Valbuena, who has been the subject of interest from Arsenal for quite some time now, has finally spoken of his desire for a new challenge. Aged 29, the French international has been a regular for Olympique Marseille but has reiterated his desire to finally move on after 8 years at the Stade Velodrome.

Arsenal picked up a comfortable 2-0 win against Marseille in the UEFA Champions League at the Emirates last night thanks to a brace from young Jack Wilshere, who also seems to have found his scoring touch this season, especially when played in an advanced midfield role. Starting on the right wing, Wilshere got Arsenal firing with a beautifully curled left foot shot inside the first minute before scoring his and Arsenalâ€™s second in the second half, smashing home from 10 yards out after Mesut Ozil had squared the ball to him inside the Marseille box.
