Arsenal set to make a move for James Rodriguez!

Arsenal are set to make a sensational move to sign Real Madrid’s out-of-favour attacker James Rodriguez, after failing to sign Riyad Mahrez from Leicester City, according to reports in Gazzetta dello Sport. It is believed that the Colombian ace has fallen further down the pecking order recently, with manager Zinedine Zidane known to be interested in providing youngster Marco Asensio with more first team chances, and the Gunners are keen to make the most out of the opportunity by bringing him to north London.

 

Gunners leading race to sign Turk sensation

Arsenal are believed to have taken the lead in the pursuit of their former player, Besiktas midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup, according to reports in The Metro. The 23 year old, meanwhile, is himself known to be favouring a move back to the Emirates Stadium, despite the likes of Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan also known to be hot on his trail.

Inter Milan boss invites Arsenal to bid on Icardi!

Arsenal have been linked with Inter Milan’s star forward Mauro Icardi all summer, and despite Head Coach Roberto Mancini telling the Gunners that the player is not available for sale, the club’s President Erick Thohir has over-ruled his manager and invited the Gunners to table an offer for the star forward.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, it seems, is keen to revamp his attacking third this summer. According to reports in The Daily Mirror, the Frenchman is monitoring the situation surrounding Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi closely, and may table a bid for him in the weeks to come.

The 23 year old, who is considered as one of the most highly rated strikers in the Serie A, is likely to become available in the near future, with Inter Milan understood to be considering letting him go for around £25m.

Wenger ready to splash the cash for sensational Croat

Arsenal are understood to be gearing up to make a serious move for Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, according to reports in Italian publication Corriere dello Sport.

Gunners handed massive boost in race for French international

Arsenal’s road to signing Monaco ace Geoffrey Kondogbia just became easier! According to revelations made by Sky Sports Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the player’s suitors Inter Milan have failed to reach an agreement with the Ligue 1 side over signing the player this summer, and have probably opted out of the race for his signature, thus reducing the competition in the race to land him.

And while Wenger is reportedly uninterested in paying the £25m that Monaco want for their player, it is believed that he views him as a physically stronger alternative to his other target, Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin.
