Chelsea Manager Antonio Conte was predictably disappointed at having failed in his quest to net a domestic double, but was proud of his side’s performance in the FA Cup final and over the season as a whole.

Speaking to the press after the Blues’ 2-1 loss to Arsenal at Wembley last night, Conte said, “We won the league and it was right to celebrate and enjoy this win. My players put all of themselves into the game, maybe our start wasn’t good and the impact and approach wasn’t good and Arsenal pushed a lot. We paid for this start.” Continue reading

Arsene Wenger: “It was a foul”

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger cried foul after going down 3-1 to Chelsea in the early kick off on Saturday at Stamford Bridge, leaving the Gunners trailing the Blues by 12 points in the Premier League standings.

Wenger was doing his best impression of blaming the referee for the outcome, saying in an interview with BBC Sport, “It was a foul. If you look at a number of games recently we can feel sorry. It was 100% a foul, it was even dangerous play.” Continue reading

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte lashed out at his players after their poor performance led to a 3-0 thrashing at the hands of local rivals Arsenal at the Emirates today.
