Club manager finally CONFIRMS key Arsenal target may leave this summer

Arsenal have been boosted in their pursuit of Olympique Lyon sensation Alexandre Lacazette, with the Ligue 1 side’s manager Bruno Genesio finally admitting that the player may be sold in the days to come.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has decided to loosen the strings of his purse a little in order to land Olympique Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette this summer. According to reports in Squawka, the boss has decided to table an improved bid of £33.7m for the player, and it is understood that he may not spend any further on him.

The Ligue 1 giants are believed to have already rejected the north Londoners’ opening offer of £29.5m for the highly rated striker. And while Wenger’s new offer is a significant improvement on his earlier one, it still falls considerably short of Lyon’s demands of £40m, plus bonuses, for their player.
