Bayern superstar to miss Arsenal clash after suffering muscle injury

33 year old Bayern Munich French winger Franck Ribery looks set to miss the Champions League Round of 16 first leg clash with Arsenal in a couple of weeks’ time after suffering an injury in training this week.

Ribery, who has been in pretty good form so far this season, pulled his hamstring while chasing a ball down in training at Bayern’s training center at Sabener Strasse on Tuesday.

It is believed that the veteran winger has a muscle tear which is all but certain to rule him out of the game against Arsenal at the Allianz Arena on 15th February, but he does have an outside shot of getting fit in time for the reverse fixture in North London on 7th March.
