Arsenal boosted in race for Mustafi

Arsenal have been encouraged in their pursuit of Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi, with reports in the press revealing that the player has been left out of his side’s squad for their pre-season friendly match with Nigeria All-Stars. However, there is still no concrete confirmation of any new bids by the club for the highly rated German ace.


Wenger ready to pay only £35m for Mahrez

Arsenal may have succeeded in signing only one marquee player in this year’s transfer market; however, manager Arsene Wenger seems to be still unwilling to loosen the strings of his purse. According to a revelation made by L’Equipe journalist Gilles Favard, the north London giants have tabled a second bid of £35m for Leicester City superstar Riyad Mahrez – one that may surely be turned down by the Foxes in the days to come. The Gunners have already seen a £30m offer being rejected for the same player.

Arsenal to give up on Lacazette’s pursuit

Arsene Wenger is understood to be ready to give up on his chase for Olympique Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette now, with reports in The Daily Telegraph revealing that the French side are now demanding a sum of £60m to part ways with him!


And they are set to raid Manchester City for Wilfried Bony

Arsenal, meanwhile, are also known to be keeping tabs on Manchester City forward Wilfried Bony, with reports in The Daily Star revealing that the north London giants are set to table a £30m bid to sign him. It is believed that the Citizens are themselves open to the prospect of selling the former Swansea City player this summer which is why he may prove to be an easy buy for Arsene Wenger.

If you thought transfer rumours couldn’t get any crazier, you are in for a shock! English tabloid The Sun has made the atrocious claim of Arsenal contemplating a move for either of Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski or Atletico Madrid’s Antonie Griezmann in the days to come. We leave it up to you to decide whether Wenger will EVER do this, or not!


Ozil unhappy with Wenger’s activity (or rather, the lack of it!)

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil, meanwhile, has indicated of being unhappy with his side’s lack of activity in the transfer market once again. The German superstar was quoted telling Spox: “This decision [to buy new players] is not with me, but the coach and the management. Of course, we all watch as the other teams strengthen and get (to a higher level) in the league.”



Hertha interested in signing Gnabry

German side Hertha Berlin are believed to be keeping tabs on Arsenal youngster Serge Gnabry, with reports in Bild revealing that the side are looking to sign the player in the days to come. It is understood that Gnabry may become available for as little as £1.7m this summer!
