Arsenal youngster Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is understood to have become a key target for Galatasaray now, with reports in The Daily Mirror revealing that the Turkish side have already got in touch with the north Londoners over the prospect of signing the player in the hours to come.
The 22 year old is widely regarded to be one of the hottest young prospects in the Gunners’ first team, with him having been impressive for the side in his recent performances for them.
Wenger himself is known to value Oxlade-Chamberlain immensely, which is why it is almost certain that he wouldn’t let the player move away from the Emirates Stadium anytime soon. Nevertheless, Gala are believed to be confident that they have the financial resources necessary to prise the youngster away from Arsenal.
The Englishman, who has had a history of injury problems, has made 5 appearances for the Gunners so far this season, playing a key role in their win in the FA Community Shield and against Newcastle United in the league recently. He is widely regarded to be a key first team star in the making, with the player himself known to be happy with life at the north London club.
Galatasaray, meanwhile, are also known to be looking to sign Joel Campbell this summer, having already landed Lukas Podolski sometime back.
