Premier League side West Bromwich Albion are understood to be on the brink of landing Arsenal youngster Serge Gnabry on loan this summer, according to reports in talkSPORT.
The 20 year old has not played for the Gunners’ first team since March 2014, with a knee injury having led to him spending the whole of the last season on the sidelines.
In fact, the player has been able to make just 18 appearances for the north Londoners’ senior side, after having joined them from Stuttgart in the summer of 2011. He, however, has represented his country Germany at a number of youth levels till now.
Gnabry is a versatile attacker, who can ply his trade as a winger or an attacking midfielder, whenever needed by his side. He is touted to be a star in the making, which is why manager Arsene Wenger is keen for him to get maximum game time to aid in his development.
Should the youngster move away from Emirates Stadium this summer, it would be his first loan move as an Arsenal player.
