QPR vs Arsenal Preview

Arsenal have just three games left before the season ends and the Gunners will have to win all of them, if they plan to succeed in their ambitions of making the Champions League next season. Their task would seem rather easy too, with the QPR visit this weekend followed by games against other relegation strugglers Wigan and Newcastle.

QPR’s place in the Championship next term has been sealed after last week’s draw at Reading and Harry Redknapp’s side will be playing solely for pride when they host the Gunners at Loftus Road on Saturday. Shaun Wright-Phillips and Andrew Johnson have been ruled out for the season, while on-loan Spurs midfielder Andros Townsend and winter acquisition Christopher Samba are also unlikely to start. Nonetheless, the Rangers will give it their all to claim all three points against Arsenal and leave the Premier League on a positive note.

The only notable exception from Arsenal’s squad would be striker Olivier Giroud, who is out with suspension and Wenger would push his men to thrash the relegated Rangers with ease. Arsenal drew their last game against champions Manchester United and Wenger will push his men to thump the relegated QPR this weekend.

QPR have not scored a goal in three games and Arsenal have conceded just once in their last three, making the Gunners firm favourites to claim a dominating victory at Loftus Road in the late Saturday fixture.
