Arsenal to reject any and all offers from Bayern for Wilshere

Arsenal have finally taken a firm stance on keeping their prized possessions with them. The Gunners have handed over a firm denial to Bayern Munich, who have been looking to land in 21 year old Jack Wilshere at the Allianz Arena this summer, reported The Daily Star.

The report also quoted a senior source from the club, saying: “We won’t be selling any of our top players this time around and that includes Jack Wilshere. We’ll be adding at least three significant signings.”

Wilshere has been speculated to join the dreaded list of Arsenal stars like Robin Van Persie, Cesc Fabregas, Samir Nasri and Alex Song, who have chosen a move away from the club in recent times. The speculations were fuelled by reports of incoming Bayern manager Pep Guardiola being keen to sign the young star. It is believed that the Spaniard has been an admirer of the 21 year old ever since his exploits against his former side Barcelona, two years ago. The 42 year old is reportedly keen to stamp his style over the side Jupp Heynckes has built over a long time, and would be looking forward to bring along a few of his own names to Munich; a job which might become easier, given the enormous transfer kitty he looks set to be provided with.

But Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger would not want anyone disrupting his plans of rebuilding the club. The 63 year old has seen a number of his top player leave the club in search of greener pastures and glory in the past few seasons, which have led to the Gunners struggling to win silverware. The Frenchman looks determined to end Arsenal’s wait for a trophy and would not be willing to even think about negotiating over selling his promising players, especially homegrown stars like Wilshere.

Meanwhile, the 21 year old has recently penned a brand new five year deal and committed his future to Arsenal. In spite of that, the Bavarian Giants have the resources to lure him to Munich.
